What types of projects do you take on?
I work on AI strategy and implementation, digital product management, and UX/UI design for mid-to-large enterprises. Most of my clients operate in regulated industries like retail, procurement, and finance across Europe.
Where are you based and do you work remotely?
I am based in Florence, Italy. I work remotely as standard with most of my clients in the Netherlands and broader Europe. I am available for on-site visits when the project requires it.
How do engagements typically start?
It starts with a free 30-minute strategy call to understand your challenge. From there, I will propose a scope, timeline, and approach. No long procurement processes needed for an initial conversation.
Do you work through an agency or independently?
I work independently through Ionita Consulting and as a direct consultant. No agency layers, no handoff gaps. You work directly with me throughout the engagement.
What is your experience with AI governance?
I have built four production AI tools under DOME (domelayer.com), all with governance validation and audit logging built in. I specialise in helping enterprises adopt AI that works within compliance boundaries, not around them.
Can you build as well as advise?
Yes. I design, build, and deploy production software. My stack includes Next.js, Supabase, Vercel, and multi-LLM integration across Claude, OpenAI, and Gemini. I hand you working software, not strategy decks.
What is your typical engagement length?
It depends on the scope. Short advisory engagements can be a few weeks. Embedded product or UX roles typically run 3 to 12 months. I am flexible on structure and can adapt as the project evolves.
Do you offer fixed-price projects?
For well-defined scopes, yes. For ongoing advisory or embedded roles, I work on a day-rate basis. We will discuss the best structure during the initial call.
